Woodland Babes ~ Tuesdays & Fridays 10.30am until midday

Forest School gives your little ones the chance to spend time outdoors in a safe environment where they can confidently explore the woodland and build resilience.

Our mums & tots group take place each Tuesday and Friday from 10.30am until midday at our woodland in the village of Kirk Langley. On arrival in the wood, your child will have the option to take part in our planned activities such as nature arts and crafts or they can choose for themselves how their morning will look.

The most popular pastimes in the wood include bug hunting, bird spotting, digging in the woodchip pile, water play, hanging around in a hammock and of course the ever popular mud kitchen.

During the session, refreshments are available for both mums and babes. If the children are up for it, then we gather around the fire and they can toast their own marshmallows or as little Seb describes them “our fire ice cream.”

At Hopyard Wood, we offer off road parking in a field which is a short walk from the wood. There is also toilet facilities on site. If you have any questions about our sessions, please email to admin@hopyardwood.co.uk
